Mental Health Awareness Training to Malawi Sports Chaplains
Donation protected
Sports Chaplaincy Scotland national director Mark Fleming has been delivering top quality bespoke mental health awareness training for the SPFL Trust for the last 10 years, training more than 1,000 people working within Scottish football. Of those, hundreds have been football club chaplains who have received the invaluable training free of charge. Immanuel Chodzeka, national director of Sports Chaplaincy Malawi has reached out to Mark and asked if he could come over to Malawi to deliver this training to a group of 30 of his chaplains who are doing a similar work. Given Scotland's historic connection to Malawi, Mark is keen to deliver this training at no cost to the group so we have set up this GoFundMe page to raise funds to enable Mark to go across to their annual convention in March 2026. Any additional funds raised will help Malawian sports chaplains afford travel to Blantyre (Malawi) as well as food and accommodation.
