Empowering Girls and Boys in Zimbabwe's Rural Areas

Thanks to your incredible generosity on our last fundraiser, we successfully raised over £1,000 last year to provide pads, soap, and underwear to over 300 girls in Buhera on the 15th of January 2025.

It was truly life-changing to see how much these simple essentials meant to them.

During our last visit, we noticed something that touched our hearts, the boys in the schools were feeling left out. They, too, face challenges with basic needs like underwear and socks, and they often lack the knowledge to support the girls and women in their lives. This inspired us to expand our mission.

This year, we are raising funds to reach even more students, both girls and boys, in three rural areas.

Our goals are:

1. Provide menstrual essentials like pads and soap to girls, helping them stay in school during their periods.

2. Support boys with essentials such as underwear and socks, ensuring they don’t feel left out.

3. Educate girls on menstrual health and hygiene, empowering them with knowledge to care for themselves confidently.

4. Educate boys on how to support the girls and women in their lives.

With your support, we can continue to break down barriers to education, reduce stigma around menstruation, and create a brighter future for these students. No contribution is too small it all adds up to make a huge difference.
