Hello, my name is Luís and I am trying to raise funds to help my sister Filomena, as she is in a very difficult situation.

My sister is a fighter. She managed to leave a toxic and violent marriage with her son. She fought against two aggressive cancers. She is in remission. Because of this, she was forced to reinvent herself and leave her profession as a hairdresser. She managed to keep her employees and the salon open because it was her only source of income and where she had invested all her money and energy. In the same space, she created a children's clothing section so she could work since she could no longer be a hairdresser. Unfortunately, yesterday another tragedy befell her. Just when she was managing to get back on her feet, a fire during the night destroyed everything. She is on her knees and filled with dark thoughts. Today, with 3 children with special needs because they experienced their mother's illness firsthand, and with her partner who received a kidney transplant, this fire was the last straw.

She has insurance, but it doesn't cover everything. The most urgent thing is having to pay suppliers even though she's lost everything. And paying rent, electricity, water, maids, etc. However, she can't do anything until the expert assessment is completed and a decision is made, which could take weeks. Right now she has no other source of income. And she has the mortgage to pay.
