Meningitis Now via Marathon des Sables

Hi, I'm Martin.

I'm raising money for Meningitis Now via entering the Marathon des Sables. At 16 weeks old I was diagnosed with meningococcal meningitis, so I’d really like to raise as much as possible for Meningitis Now (Charity number: 803016).

Marathon des Sables (MdS) is 250-km yomp through the Sahara desert over 6 racing days with a few days in the desert prior to the race. You are required to carry all your food, clothing and mandatory kit with you, thus self-sufficient, although you are given water at the start of every day, at checkpoints and at the end of each day. https://www.marathondessables.com/en.
