Help with Helen's Surgery & Recovery

My Name is Helen, my husband and I planned to helping out at 2 different organizations this winter. In November while volunteering at a the first organization, I, Helen started having odd unexplainable headaches every time I would get up from a bent over position or if the was pressure in the head. They only lasted for 30-45 second but very intense. On Dec 12 We contacted a friend in Mexico and inquired if they could get us an appointment with a doctor. She described the symptoms and my past cancer history to him. An MRI was scheduled for Dec 14 and another one was done the 15. We had the report and images in our email by 7pm on Dec. 15/23 Within 3 days we new what the cause is and a plan for action in place. We PRAISE the Lord once again for laying the plans out for us.

The images from the MRI appear non cancerous and favourably operable but due to my past cancer the doctors are being vigilant to make sure it is nothing more. Jan 15, Lord willing I will have surgery to remove the tumour and a biopsies will then be done. We will be having this procedure done in Hermosillo as the doctor is exceptionally qualified and on top of setting a course of action. We do not want to chance going back to Canada as we know we can get this taken care of much quicker in Mexico.

Please keep us in your prayers as we navigate thru another scary time in our lives, pray that the Lord would heal me, that the medication that I am on will keep the swelling down till the date of surgery, that we stay positive throughout this praising the Lord always.
