Menguita Philippines Medical Bills

Hi, My name is Jocelyn and I am raising money to help pay for the mounting medical bills for my husband's family in the Philippines. Two weeks ago the family was happy and healthy but Covid hit them hard. After a short by hard fight we have already lost his beloved oldest sister and wonderful mother. His sister was a person who always smiled and had a kind word. She was a natural caregiver and had returned to the Philippines from the USA to take care of Nanay and Daddy as they aged. Nanay was a favorite among the people. She always loved deeply and sang beautifully. She cried whenever she was apart from any of her family, and she had a wit that could catch you off guard. We are still fighting for his father. His father always gave to anyone in need. His generosity has saved many people over the years. We are also covering another family member who has been stationed in Daddy's hospital room to take care of Daddy -- because he (the family member) just tested positive also. The situation is fast moving and always building. For example, as I write, Daddy is in need of a certain medicine. The family has located this medicine in Manilla and has a 6 hour window to raise and send $4,000 USD to the Philippines in order to purchase it. We have a family friend that is able to drive the 7 hours to go get it but we are still raising the $4,000. This is just for one medication. We haven't even seen the final hospital and cremation bills. The family has paid for many medicines and oxygen already but there is still more to pay for, as well as the hospital costs. They have pulled their retirement funds, sold their car, sent their emergency fund, and taken a second job, but we still need help. We expect the final costs to near $60,000 USD. If we raise more than we need we will help others pay for their care as there is no health insurance there like there is here. There is no job market like there is here. There are no opportunities like there is here. This family has been through so much and has stuck together through such a traumatic time. Please help them pay this debt and possibly be able to help others. Even if you can only give a small amount, those will add up and any help will be deeply appreciated.
