My name is Irene Stapleton and I am raising funds for my sister Guadalupe Mendoza who is in the hospital suffering from multiple live threatening issues. It started at home with severe stomach pain. After three days in bed she was taken to the hospital emergency on July 26 due to suffering fainting spells. Guadalupe’s blood pressure kept dropping and she went into cardiac arrest in the hospital the following day. Miraculously the hospital staff restarted her heart and realized she was bleeding heavily internally due to a broken blood vessel. After four days of blood transfusions the bleeding stabilized and a camera procedure found she had a hemorrhage from a nonalcoholic ulcer in her stomach. In addition to those troubles Guadalupe’s Kidneys stopped functioning further jeopardizing her life. The family made the decision to have her taken to Sutter health in San Francisco to better evaluate her and have surgery. She still isn’t able to breathe on her own and requires a machine to keep her on life support. She is awake at times and realizes her situation. My dear sister is a breast cancer survivor for 5 years and is currently struggling to keep going. The doctor said that the cancer has returned and now in her bones.
Guadalupe’s husband Ramon is unable to work as he has been at her bedside. They have four children and the family is facing daunting medical expenses. Please donate what you can to help support the Mendoza family so they can pay the medical bills and support family needs. With what you can is welcome and if for some reason you cannot at this time your prayers are welcome for the recovery of my sister. Mi nombre es Irene Stapleton y estoy recaudando fondos para mi hermana Guadalupe Mendoza, quien está en el hospital y sufre de múltiples problemas de salud. Comenzó con dolor de estómago intenso. Después de unos días en la cama, fue llevada a emergencia del hospital el 26 de julio debido a que sufrio un desmayo. La presión arterial de Guadalupe siguió bajando y sufrió un paro cardíaco en el hospital al día siguiente. Milagrosamente, el personal del hospital reinició su corazón y se dio cuenta de que estaba sangrando mucho internamente debido a un vaso sanguíneo roto. Después de cuatro días de transfusiones de sangre, el sangrado se estabilizó y un procedimiento de cámara descubrió que tenía una hemorragia por una úlcera no alcohólica en el estómago. Además de esos problemas, los Riñones de Guadalupe dejaron de funcionar y pusieron en peligro su vida. La familia tomó la decisión de llevarla a Sutter Health en San Francisco para evaluarla mejor y someterse a una cirugía. Todavía no puede respirar por sí sola y necesita una máquina para mantenerla con soporte vital. A veces está despierta y se da cuenta de su situación. Mi querida hermana es una sobreviviente de cáncer de seno durante 5 años y actualmente está luchando por continuar. El médico dijo que el cáncer ha regresado y ahora esta en sus huesos.
Ramón, el esposo de Guadalupe, no puede trabajar porque él ha estado junto a ella. Tienen cuatro hijos y la familia enfrenta enormes gastos médicos. Por favor dona lo que puedas para ayudar a mantener a la familia Mendoza para que puedan pagar las facturas médicas ,y satisfacer las necesidades de la familia. Con lo que puedes es bienvenido y si por alguna razón no puedes en este momento, tus oraciones son bienvenidas por la recuperación de mi hermana.
