Mending the Mathey's

Matthew Mathey and family have seen there fair share of lifes hurdles. Recently Matt has suffered A massive stroke affecting his speech and left side of his body. He was transferred from Kenosha to Milwaukee for emergency surgery. This has left him with a long road to recovery.  The recovery process will leave Matt in the hospital for what the doctor's expect to be a month. This is an unforeseen amount of time without work, and providing for his family, which has always been Matt's number one priority. Matt has a daughter and son that count on him, his son Ty has special needs and needs around the clock care. Matt may not be their biological father, but he has taken on the responsibility of being their father, and does it with pride. If you know Matt and Nicole, you know that they are as selfless as selfless comes. The stress of your loved one's health at risk is overwhelming itself, but then comes financial stress as well. Nicole has been working toward her dream of becoming a nurse while working part time and being a full time mom and wife. Her work has granted her a leave, but unfortunately it is unpaid. Matt has been such a saving grace in Nicole's life, fathering two kids not even his own, helping her every bit while she's in school, and giving his all to his job. Let's give back to a family that is more than deserving of a miracle, every prayer and penny helps.
