Mendillo Kids Scholarship Fund

Linda (Red) Mendillo Honea battled breast cancer and had two major surgeries for most of 2017. Unfortunately, Linda passed away on Sunday, May 14th at the age of 46, from complications due to her surgeries and post operative treatment. Linda was an amazing mom to Hannah, Adam, Austin, Haley and Holly. One of the major things that Red was proud of was the fact that all of her children have excelled in school and have been able to attend special magnet schools that focus on education and honors curriculum. Linda had to put herself through college as a young woman and wanted to be in a position to help her kids get their college educations without the burden of student loans. With Linda's untimely passing, she was not able to follow through and make all the arrangements in order for this to happen as planned. The best way that we can honor Linda is to help her amazing kids attend college and grow to be successful, educated adults. Thank you so much for your consideration.
