I'm Kristie and this is my sweet 5-month-old puppy, Nova. She was born with a Grade IV Medial Patella Luxation, a serious condition where her patella (kneecap) is fused outside of her joint and is unable to move. This means she will battle constant pain, and without corrective surgery on both of her knees, her condition will only worsen as she grows.

Nova is still just a puppy, and I want her to live a happy, active life. She already has a zest for life and I want her body to be able to keep up with your bold, fun-loving personality. I’m determined to get her the care she needs, but the surgery and follow-up rehabilitation are costly. Unfortunately, pet insurance won’t cover the surgery due to a waiting period of 1 year for pre-existing or hereditary conditions, which means no financial support from insurance to help cover the cost.

That’s why I’ve created this GoFundMe, and I’m asking for your help. Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward Nova’s surgery and recovery. I want to give her the best possible chance at a pain-free life, but I can’t do it without your generosity.
