Thank you for taking the time to come to this page. I am Kiah Palumbo, family friend of the Mencia family, making this gofundme on behalf of Kelsey.
If you are here you may already know a little bit about why this gofundme even exists, but if you don't here is a little bit of how we got here.
Kelsey is the baby of this immediate family, he has other family members, but the ones pictured are; from left to right; Kathryia (oldest sister), Kelsey, Elizabeth (MOM), Junior (older brother) and Leslie (older sister).
Although, actually, he has his own baby. A pefect little girl named Kimora, full of cheeky smiles and LOVE.
Saturday, July 2nd in the early hours of the morning Kelsey was unexpectedly brought in to the ER at UVMC. His heart had stopped and he was fighting for his life. Anybody that knows Kelsey knows he was not going to give up without a fight.
At this time, the family doesn't know what the future holds for Kelsey. Every single day is a new struggle.
This go fund me is to ask for support from you all as their community. They have been driving back and forth to UVMC, staying in burlington, missing countless hours of work, all while trying to plan for the future for Kelsey. A currently update - at this time Kelsey has been transfered to a facility 3 hours away. None of the families travel is covered by insurance.
They know how to make a little bit go a long way, and they will do the same with any money that you are able to give. I want to thank you for whatever you are able to contribute to the Kelsey fund, and I know that on behalf of the entire family they feel the same. Any amount of money will relieve some of the intense pressure they are feeling with the unexpected challenges this emergency has caused.
