behind. The impact resulted in the three of them being severely injured. Tanya, who was driving, had surgery to repair a dislocated knee and multiple fractured kneecap. She was also very banged up.
Kenny, who had undergone a multiple bypass surgery recently and was a type one diabetic, had multiple breaks in the pelvis and ribs and other injuries which caused him to have to be resuscitated several times, and he eventually passed from this life during the early morning hours of June 8th. Memphis sustained a punctured lung and internal injuries which were stabilized. However, they are now most concerned about her spine. She sustained a broken neck and crushed spinal cord and the doctors don’t know what the extent of her injury will be. They put a halo on her with the hopes of reducing some of the swelling on the spinal cord so they can do surgery to see if they can repair anything. At this time I don’t know when the surgery will be.
They have said she may be paralyzed from the neck down- yet we know God isn’t limited by diagnosis. So we ask you pray for Gods mercy and healing on Memphis. Pray for her mom to have strength and hope in the face of this tragedy. A friend sent me this verse today. I’m joining her in praying this over the Meades and Memphis. Please comment below and leave a verse or prayer for them to know you are praying too.
"May the Lord answer you in the day of trouble! May the name of the God of Jacob set you securely on high [and defend you in battle]! May He send you help from the sanctuary (His dwelling place) And support and strengthen you from Zion!"
