As you are all aware, the Sherman’s have fought the good fight. They have fought endlessly for not only their community, the foster system and family and friends around them, but have now found themselves fighting for one of their own. As Richard’s sister, I now come to you all begging of you to show what they have shown so many.
Through a chain of events, as listed below, Miss Memphis is now needing US to pull together for HER, as she and her parents have done for literally hundreds of others.
May 4th 2017, Memphis had her first open heart surgery. This was a very trying time for the Sherman’s. But in true Memphis fashion, she came thru it!
Then it was off to NIHin Bethesda, Maryland for 12 days in the hospital. (Aug 2017)

Dec 27th 2018 second open heart surgery

The latest is going to St.Jude. The Sherman’s are having to leave 5 days early to prep her heart with cardiology making sure the surgery is safely done on March 17th.
This surgery has large risk and will be a bilateral adrenalectomy at St.Jude and an ICU recovery in St.Louis for cardiology.
This all being said, this family could use some help. I’d like to make it possible for Richard and Margaret to care for Memphis without the stress of missed wages and bills.
