Memory of Richard Lopez
Donation protected
This Go Fund Me is to support my sister in law Miriam with the initial cost of care for my nieces Vicky and Bella who are non-verbal when she goes to work as Richard was the primary caretaker at home.
Richard's legacy continues with his three beautiful children, Liz, Isabel, and Victoria, and his wife Miriam Lopez. Richard's Facebook Profile states, " I'm a diaper changin machine yo at my kids....I'm stay at home parent...domestic engineer."
As my Tina wrote on his memorial card, “Inconceivable!” is what doctors would say when they look at Richard’s medical file. Richard grew up in and out of the hospital for multiple ailments, but those were not the defining moments in his life.
THE defining moment of Richard’s life was when he met Miriam, whose love would bring him his greatest strengths. Richard was a loving father who doted on his three beautiful daughters: Elizabeth, Victoria, and Isabella Lopez. With each daughter, his capacity to endure the dark moments multiplied: they were his life. Like his favorite movie, The Princess Bride, to each of their requests Richard would respond “As you wish.”
From across the country, to five minutes away, Richard would always make time to call his nieces, nephews, and mom. If you had a Facebook tag, you knew it was Rich checking in on you, sharing a virtual smile. Nothing can separate Richard from his family. When you see a beam of light burst through the clouds, know that is Richard bringing you his warming smile from Heaven."
We thank you in advance for any thought, prayer, or contribution you can make to support my sister in law with child care.
