Hi I'm Tony Head and I've set up this page in memory of Faiz Alam, following his recent passing. I think everyone who knew him had fond memories of his professional manner and thorough knowledge of quality and standards, which he used to help support junior staff to learn and on occasions berate more senior staff who should know better. He was meticulous in his management of processes and procedures and had taken to managing a team of quality engineers after successful completion of the BAM management course.

Faiz was respected by Clients and subcontractors alike for his professional and approachable manner would always go out of his way to help. Everyone I've spoken to has a story about him or reflection of him that is positive and often funny.

His sense of humour, like mine, was very dry and while occasionally he became the stooge in a wind-up, he gave as good as he got, playing pranks on team members and created a strong bond with those around him. He was a team-player and collaborative manager.

Unfortunately, he leaves behind a wife and five children, so I would like the funding to go to the family to support them in their hour of need.
