Help Riordan fight brain cancer

This is not an easy piece to write. Those of you that know Riordan will understand that it's hard to put into words his infectious good humour and joyful personality. He's always been such a happy child, finding wonder and joy in the simplest things, like jumping on bubble wrap, or making up really bad puns, or giggling uncontrollably with his brother as they chase the cat around on the hardwood floors.....
 
A few days after his 11th birthday, Riordan was diagnosed with a very rare type of brain tumour. It is considered inoperable. The doctors are not optimistic.

Notwithstanding the doctors’ prognosis, we have felt an abiding spirit of peace. That has given us hope for a miracle and so we choose to exercise our faith in Christ.

We ask that each of you do the same . We ask for your faith in prayer. There are literally thousands of people around the world praying for Riordan right now. All over the US from Georgia to California to New York, in Australia, Ireland and Germany. It is truly a gift of hope to know that so many people are acting in faith and pleading his case before Almighty God. We feel that hope, and that hope has given us peace. We pray that through your faith and prayer you will be able to experience that same Spirit of peace.

Riordan will be spending the next 6 weeks undergoing various radiation treatments, and while we have insurance for him, we anticipate medical bills beyond insurance coverage. Any assistance you can provide to minimise the financial impact will help us in supporting our precious boy.
