Our dear and loving mother, Rosalind  Vanessa “Roz” Mitchell,  has experienced an untimely diagnosis of stage 4 colon cancer. She was originally diagnosed June 26th, and the cancer has rapidly progressed.

Mom has not only been a strong foundation for us, but has been a supportive and proud grandmother of four. Although this untimely news has been extremely detrimental to our family, we all know that God makes no mistakes. 

Our mother is currently in the caring hands of Columbus Hospice in Columbus, GA. Because of the aggressive progression, her battle with cancer will soon come to an end. Unfortunately she did not have a health or life insurance policy. As a result, we have assumed primary responsibility of the medical and final arrangement costs. 

The primary use of the funds will be allocated towards Mom’s final arrangement/funeral costs. Funds will also be dispersed throughout the escalating medical bills. We are in need of immediate financial assistance as her health continues to rapidly deteriorate. Any level of donation will be greatly appreciated. Mom’s oldest daughter, Cicely Christian, will assume the primary role of all financial contributions.
