Kim “Yig” Wilson passed unexpectedly, but peacefully in her sleep on October 15th at her home in Okeechobee, Florida. Kim was an incredibly passionate person who loved music; art; nature; cats; and more than anything, her daughter Kellie. Yig was a born entertainer who loved to share her talent and knowledge of music, which was almost encyclopedic. Kim’s chosen family extended farther than we could have ever known, so many have reached out to share stories to Kellie in the past few days. Yig touched many lives in her 63 years, the world has lost a bright light far too soon.
Unprepared for the high cost of end of life and memorial expenses, as well as animal relocation, Kellie is asking for donations to help cover some of these costs.
There will be a celebration of life Saturday October 22nd at 2pm at Wayside Inn in Dania Beach, Florida.
We are so very grateful for any help during this difficult time.
Please feel free to contact Kellie privately with any stories, questions, Venmo information or condolences at [phone redacted]
