Nadia Benson died tragically when her motorcycle was hit by a trucker that ran a red light in Cobb County, Georgia. She was only 26 years old, and is missed dearly by family, friends, and her beloved bunnies.
I remember when I helped her get her first two wheeler, a Yamaha scooter, so she could get around town easier. She had never even owned a car. She was so happy and took to it like a fish to water. Over the years she developed a deep love for the two wheel life that was unbreakable. That is, until it ended tragically due to no fault of her own.
The trucker insurance company hasn't paid for any funeral expenses, despite the traffic camera clearly showing that he ran a red light.
Nadia was born in Russia and was raised as an orphan before being adopted by a kind American military family. She lived in California and Virginia before making Georgia her recent home.
I'm a close friend raising money to pay for burial and memorial marker for her at Arlington Memorial Cemetery in Sandy Springs, GA.
A bronze marker will be made for Nadia's gravesite. It will display her name, words about her life, and at least one picture of a bunny.
Please help to lay our dear friend to rest.
