Memorial & Funeral Expense Fund for Ramon Barreiro

Hello,

My name is Dallas Gillison, son of "CSM" Ramon Giovanni Barriero. I created this fundraiser to help my family with funeral expenses and any other costs that may arise during the tragic loss of our beloved husband and father.

An amazing father, husband, brother, and friend was taken too soon from us. Unfortunately, on December 29, 2021 my dad took his last breath after fighting cancer with all he had. He was the kind of man that never allowed any road block to stop him from anything, including fighting this awful disease. He always motivated his children to strive for greatness and to never let anyone or anything get in the way of our success. He always made us laugh with his endless jokes, always supported, and greatly loved us.

My dad dedicated 23 years to the military and was always proud of our country. He was one of the most patriotic men I know. Throughout his many years of service, he became a leader, a friend, and a mentor for many soldiers. As described by one soldier "He is an American like you and me. We can all hope to have half the character and qualities that he does. He had never led us wrong. He always looked out for us, always putting the mission first, Soldiers always, and himself last. He always pushed us to be the best that we can be."

As my dad always said " Brothers, what we do in life echoes in eternity. Until Valhalla."
