Having to experiencing the death of a child is the most emotionally, physically, and financially draining thing that could ever happen to you. On Friday, June 9th seven-week-old Jeriyah Navae Hickem passed away due to unknown illness, leaving behind grieving parents Tae’Andra and Jerald, and big sister A’ziah.
Imaging bringing your infant in for a fever and having to leave the hospital without them, not knowing why. This is how things took place for Tae’Andra and Jerald. Jeriyah was admitted to the hospital on Monday, June 5th with a fever. Rapidly her state declined as they tried to determine the cause of her illness, which unfortunately ended in the loss of her life. “...the most profound, the most overwhelming, and the most inconsolable of losses to deal with.
Our family is rallying around Tae’Andra and Jerald in effort to help support them during this time. We have set up this page to help fund expenses they have and will incur throughout this sudden tragedy. Primarily, one of their greatest wishes is they desire to lay baby Jeriyah to rest in their home state of Missouri, as they are currently located in Nevada.
