I believe my precious, beautiful, sweet 23-year-old daughter Kara Lorynn Hyde was murdered and is gone forever. It has been 4 1/2 years since I saw her pretty face, missing since 12/5/21. My kind and caring daughter naively trusted everyone, loved everyone, and wanted everyone to love her too. This led to her demise, trusting the wrong person, because she loved them. We have nowhere to mourn Kara. This fundraiser is for a memorial vase for Kara at Rose Hill Cemetery, where it will be placed next to her beloved Mammaw. It would make Kara so happy and hopefully more at peace, and myself too. I'm asking for others' help due to time constraints. The loss of my baby has cost me my health, my time's up, and I want to do this one last gesture of love for Kara. I would love to take her the long stem, red roses I've been growing for her to her own special vase. I desperately want for everyone to know my daughter once had a life, a mostly beautiful life. She once described herself as an "Angel flying too close to the ground." And, she was. She was my life and still is. Kara remained kind and beautiful till the end, always thinking and doing for others. I raised a strong, perfect, and proud daughter. She suffered many traumas in her short life, but always soldiered on. Kara had a good childhood, lots of love and protection from her three older brothers and myself. Kara's teen years were full of fun, she had great friends and was very popular. Kara's looks caused car wrecks from gawkers, and caused strange men to approach her wherever she went. This would scare her and she would cling to me. Kara was funny, sweet, kind, caring, and generous. She had a quick wit I miss so much. She made me laugh. Kara was creative, artistic, and could sing like Avril Lavigne. Kara was loving and affectionate, often plopping her full weight on me to sit in my lap. Kara still called me Mommy. No one calls me that anymore, and it hurts. To meet Kara was to love Kara. Please help me honor her memory with a special place to mourn and remember her.
