Our hearts are shattered by the tragic and sudden loss of Paris Shatel Morales, a devoted mother of four beautiful children. Paris was allegedly killed by her husband, leaving her young family devastated and facing an uncertain future without the woman who was their everything.

Paris was more than just a mother—she was the heart of her family. She was a loving, compassionate, fun, and powerful woman who filled every room with her radiant light. Her warm smile, infectious energy, and genuine kindness drew people in. Recently, Paris had achieved her dream of becoming a nurse, a career that perfectly reflected her compassionate nature and desire to care for others.

As a mother, Paris was extraordinary. She was their biggest cheerleader, their safe place, and their source of endless love and laughter. Her children meant the world to her, and she worked tirelessly to build a bright future for them. Now, in the wake of this unimaginable tragedy, those four children must navigate life without their beloved mom.

We, her co-workers in the Emergency Department, are initiating raising funds to establish a Trust for Paris’s children, managed by an independent hired Trustee. This trust will provide long-term support as the children grow into adulthood. The funds will be designated specifically for educational purposes and opportunities to help them better themselves—whether that’s college tuition, vocational training, or programs that foster personal growth, healing, and are likely to bring economic prosperity for their future.

Our goal for the donations received is to help secure a more stable and hopeful future for these children who have lost so much. All donations will be used to implement and maintain a fund in an appropriate vehicle to accomplish this goal. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us closer to honoring Paris’s legacy by giving her kids the tools they need to thrive, just as she would have wanted.
