Memorial Tribute to Dacia Bridges for Billie Sky

Our beloved Dacia Bridges passed away suddenly on August 1, 2019 from a brain aneurysm. Words can not express our deep sorrow for her death or our deep gratitude for her light that she had in her, the light she shared with everyone, and the gift of light she was able to conjure up in every single one of us. Your donations will help ensure that her small intimate family funeral costs and her cremation will be covered, that her public tribute and memorial celebration will be covered in Kalamazoo, Michigan on September 1, 2019 (more details coming), and that the most important love of her life, her daughter Billie Sky, has a trust set up for her. We want Billie Sky to have all of our support. Billie Sky needs us all to hold her up right now.
Dacia's most recent musical endeavors was performing in an all female rock band in Kalamazoo, Michigan for the pas two and a half years called the Dacia Bridges Project. We received grant funding through our local arts council to begin recording a full length album last year. We would love to use a small portion of the funds raised to finish some of the recording, to honor Dacia and release an E.P. of seven songs. ALL proceeds from this release will go directly to Billie Sky.
In order to receive funds, gofund me has asked me to include the following information:
1. How you are related to your beneficiary? Dacia was a great friend, mentor, soul sister, band mate. I loved her like family. We embraced her daughter like family. That's what you do, when you are in a band together and have kids, and a supportive husband, willing to take care of all the children.
2. I will be withdrawing the funds in my name to my own personal bank account and then depositing them into a trust account under Dacia's daughter's name. Only Billie Sky will have access to these funds when she turns 18. We will use no more than $1,000 to complete the printing and mastering of our album. All recording, studio time, and graphic design has been donated to us. All proceeds from the album will go to Billie Sky's trust.
3. How exactly you will be delivering the funds to your beneficiary? I will be depositing them by directly transferring funds from my account to Billie Sky's via paypall or venmo.
