Memorial tree in memory of Karl Riley

Hi my name is Jade and I am Julie’s best friend, unfortunately Julie received the heartbreaking news that her partner and love of her life Karl Riley aged 40 had passed away suddenly on the 5th April 2022. Julie and Karl have been together for 20 years and have 5 beautiful children Keighly, Chloe, Sophie, Harry and Oliver.

Julie and Karl where literally soul mates and anyone who knows either of them will know this!! When they first met julie already had the girls and Karl didn’t just take on the role of a father figure he was the best dad the girls could ever wish for! Julie and Karl tried for many years to get pregnant and finally they found out that they was expecting. Harry was born on 13.05.2017 and then Oliver came along and was born 31.05.2019. Karl and Julie also became grandparents in 2017, 2019 and then again in 2021

Karl was an amazing and devoted partner/dad/grandad/son/brother and friend.

the aim of this fundraiser is to be able to purchase a rose tree and memorial place/plaque for Karl at crematorium so that Julie is able to take the boys to a special place for Daddy as currently they don’t have anything or anywhere to go to as they don’t have any of Karl’s ashes and the boys are too young to fully understand what has happened especially Oliver who is only 2 and suffers with autism. Harry got his first pair of football boots the other day and all he wanted to do was to show his daddy and to tell him about them and it is such as this which will give them a place to go and a place to feel close and connected to Karl.

we would appreciate anything to help towards achieving this memorial for Karl and I know that Julie and the kids will be forever grateful for any donations/support or social media shares.

This has been such a sad loss and has hit Julie and the kids so hard as one minute Karl was here and the next he was gone with no warning
