On September 8th, 2008, the world lost the most beautiful soul. His name was Ethan McGraw. He was diagnosed with medulloblastoma - a brain cancer and spent 5 and 1/2 years kicking cancer's butt, until the morning of the 8th at 10:01am, Jesus called him Home. His short 12 years of life were filled with adventures and many many friendships.
The 12th anniversary of Ethan's death is approaching and this year some of his oldest friends want to make a tribute better than before. We were only ages 11 or 12 when Ethan passed and since then have not had a proper memorial to grieve, remember, and have a place where Ethan can be visited.
Over the Summer of 2020, as a group we decided we would love to raise money to be able to have a tree planted in memorial of him, to signify life again. The cost is $2500 for a tree, with an accompanying a memorial plaque, at the beautiful Fredrick Meijer Gardens here in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

This year, we want to show our love and Ethan and come together to remember him after all of these years, as he is still a very big part of our lives.
Anything helps, and your support would mean so much. More than anything we'd be able to express.
Thank you for your time and/or donation.
If we hit over our goal, we will be planning to donate it to a hospital or charity of the McGraw family's choice. <3
Sincerely,
Former Knapp Charter students and Ethan's friends
