Memorial tree and bench for Joshua Mardis

Joshua Daniel Mardis passed away in a tragic car accident on February 3rd, 2023, during his time at James Madison University. In collaboration with the Mardis family, his former High School, Walsingham Academy, is initiating a fundraising effort to establish a memorial near the soccer field. This place held special significance in Josh’s heart. 

The funds will contribute to the WalsIngham fund for excellence and the soccer/sports program. Along with this will be the installation of a Japanese maple tree and a bench, creating a space for the remembrance of their dear alum. Walsingham Academy and the Mardis family would greatly appreciate your support in the creation of this memorial. Anything over the needed amount will go to the WalsIngham fund for excellence and the soccer/sports program in Josh’s memory. Thank you, and God bless.
