The family of Patricia Jascot is requesting memorial contributions to support the retirement of Patricia’s dear caregiver Ona.

Ona began caring for Pat in the early days of Pat's dementia diagnosis and quite literally never left her side for 7 years. Ona made sure that Pat's every need was met and, over the years they became great friends as well.

Ever patient and kind, Ona cared for Pat as her own family.

They traveled together and did activities to keep Pat's mind active. Cooking delicious meals for her daily, she made sure that Pat kept up her strength.

Insisting on caring for Pat herself, Ona never took even one single day off in all of her 7 years with Pat.

In the end, Ona was with Pat and Pat's daughter Leah, taking care of her and gently stroking her face.

Ona is now 70 years old herself and very deserving of a relaxing retirement. We are requesting donations to this fund to support Ona in the future, in lieu of flowers in Pat's memory.
