Memorial Support for Gavin Shubert

On the evening of July 20, 2021, Gavin Shubert passed away in a tragic accident in Midland. This GoFundMe has been established to assist the family with unexpected expenses and to help those who desperately want to be servants to the family a place to provide some of their love and support. We want to thank the City of Midland's First Responders for their professionalism and care, as well as the neighbors in the area of the accident that went out of their way to provide assistance. Midland is blessed with folks who have caring hearts for others and who constantly look for ways to serve needs that are present around them.

Gavin was a young man who was loved by everyone who encountered his infectious personality. He lived his life with determination and passion. His smile and laugh could make your day instantly better, no matter what you were going through. Gavin's fierce and unwavering commitment to his family and friends left you never doubting the love he carried in his heart for others. Gavin enjoyed life and living life with those he was closest with. He loved playing sports and was a constant competitor and loyal teammate during his time playing baseball with the Midland Vipers, Northern Little League and the Midland Colts, along with his time playing GMFL football and his Abell Junior High teams.

Gavin leaves behind a family that has been devoted to the Midland Community for many years. A family that has always been the first to offer their support and resources when others were in need. Alex and Tiffany have devoted their lives together as parents in helping to raise young men that are lights in the middle of a darkened world. Gavin's legacy will certainly be carried on through his brothers, his parents, and his countless friends.

May our God provide peace and understanding in the days, weeks, and months ahead. May He wrap His arms around Gavin's family, his friends, and those who were there in the end. Even in the darkest of pains, good will be discovered and we know that Gavin would expect all of us to find the strength to move forward.
