On September 6th, Sunday morning, I received the news of my fathers passing. This was sudden and unexpected and sent a shockwave through my family and his loved ones. He wasn’t only a father to me but to most of the people he met. Many of you knew him for his generosity and humor - he could always keep a smile on someone’s face and would try his best to do so. He made it his personal mission to l lift up everyone around him and brought light into the lives of those he touched. It’s indescribable to explain how I feel with the weight of his passing. Unfortunately, it happened so abruptly that the life insurance policy he had set up hadn’t been in effect long enough to cover his expenses. At this point we’re left with no other option but to create this fundraiser to help give my father the service he deserves. Anything helps and is greatly appreciated. His service will be held at Torsone’s Funeral Home, 218 Mill Street in Poughkeepsie, on Sunday September 13th from 4pm to 7pm. There will be precautionary measures in place due to Covid-19 but everyone is more than welcome to safely pay their respects. My father held so many people in his heart and cared deeply about those around him. My family and I are heartbroken and sincerely appreciate any help we can receive.
