My Older Brother Rodney Delanoza was taken from us by COVID-19 in Reno Nevada Thursday November 19, 2020, a few months after retiring from United Airlines as a Flight Attendant.
Those who crossed his path are familiar with his smile, hospitality and warm Aloha.
He was born in Waimea Kauai on January 11, 1955, and was a graduate of Waimea High School Class of 1973 and Kapiolani Community College Culinary Program.
He was preceded in death by father Bicente Delanoza, paternal grandfather Segundo Delanoza and grandmother Beleriana Delanoza Legaspi, maternal grandfather Willie Yuen Sam Fong and grandmother Margaret Fellez Sam Fong.
He is survived by Mother Genevieve Delanoza of Kekaha, Life Partner of 3 years Rick Jordan of Reno Nevada, sister Gwendolyn Delanoza of Kekaha, brothers Alan Delanoza of Of Los Angeles, Derek Delanoza of Honolulu and Chad(Mary)Delanoza of Kekaha. Nieces Alicia(Scotty Rita)Vea of Eleele, Alison(Tolly)Vea of Kekaha, Puna(Tawnya)Vea of Lihue, Chaslee(Talon Abat)Delanoza of Waimea, Nephews Dalen Delanoza and Noah Delanoza of Kekaha, Grand nieces Kalee Games Vea of Kekaha, Alia Lazaro of Kekaha, Cailey Delanoza Vea & Caiya Abat of Waimea, grand nephews Kalen Kamalu Vea Games of Waimea, and Anson Lazaro of Kekaha and Brett Kamakana Vea Santiago.
