I, Mahonri Jeffs, set up this go fund me for a brief story, contributions, updates, and information related to his services.
I would like to extend a Thank-You to all those offering their support in the aftermath of this tragedy.
Ken went on brief pre-season sled ride on Beaver Mountain with his brother on Monday morning, October 24. He only intended to stay on the trails. He left his Avalanche pack behind as he saw no need for it. He was very familiar with the mountain range given any light or weather condition. He went down to Blue lake, where him and his brother played on the water with their sleds. After some time, It isn’t clearly known the cause (slow speed, engine problem, ect.) he went down. He swam in until he was some distance from the shore where he went under. His brother promptly pulled him to shore where he sadly didn’t make it. Further information will be given at the funeral.
Until further notice or changes, the viewing will be at BZI’s Kanarraville office on Saturday evening starting at 4:00pm going to 7:00pm.
There will be a remembrance period between 7:00pm and 9:00pm.
The funeral is an open funeral held at the Legacy Park (Harmony building).
Services will be held at 2:00pm with a viewing starting at 10am.
Mother says the funeral isn’t open, I guess she says it’s only open to “those at peace” and it has to be put on here.
