Memorial Services for Jose Quinones "Coach Q"

We are deeply saddened by the loss of our Coach Q.

 

Mr. Jose Quiñones or Coach Q passed away Monday morning from COVID-19. Mr. Quinones was a long-standing, integral part of our community at DW. He was a tremendous teacher, mentor, friend, and colleague. We know Mr. Quinones has touched the lives of so many students, parents, and the extended community. Our hearts and souls are very heavy with this loss.

 

He was always quick to lend a helping hand, was behind all our student-athletes pushing them to live the best versions of themselves on and off the fields, and he was an ardent supporter of our school community who attended nearly every event and activity.

 

He also was a loving husband and loving son to two of our teachers. His wife is Stefanie Quinones (formerly Stefanie DosSantos) and his mother is Ms. Maria Quinones. We have created this GoFundMe to help Stefanie and Maria pay for funeral costs and to help Stefanie with any lingering medical expenses from her fight with Covid-19.

 

Our campus feels a little emptier without him. Please help his family during this difficult time.
