Saturday, June 24 James Sliker was found unresponsive on his living room floor after suffering a massive coronary episode. The doctors report his bypass site had expired after 15 years. Sadly on June 27 his body took its final breath with his family gathered around him. Jimmy was a very stubborn, strong and, if you knew him, gentle soul who loved with his whole being. Anyone who got to spend time with him, he always left an impression. His wife, Roseann, was and always will be his entire world. He always said he’d have nothing if he didn’t have her. He loved his kids, Buddy, Jessi and Erin and their spouses as well as his grandchildren, Gregory, Austin, Cheyenne, Michael, Sara, Helen, Brandon, Noah and Dalton and his great-granddaughter Emily Rose. His grandchildren and great—granddaughter were the light of his life. He loved watching them grow and learn. Teaching them to hunt and fish when they were old enough. Watching their many accomplishments. While I am sure we could go on forever about all he loved and all that loved him there is always the burden of end-of-life bills; medical, funeral and more. We are setting up this go-fund-me to help Roseann during this difficult time with one less thing to stress about. Jimmy would never have wanted her to stress about money!
