Memorial Services for Cyndi Fuller Hickman

Donation protected
On December 16, 2018, just two days after her 59th birthday, Cynthia Lee Fuller Hickman unexpectedly left us. In the wake of her death we have received such an outpouring of love and grief that it is hard to believe. So many friends have offered to help any way they can, to a point that it has been literally overwhelming. We have been at a loss as to what we could possibly ask for that might help.

Though nothing can begin to make this right, Cyndi had no life insurance at the time of her death and her final expenses have fallen to her husband and children. As a family, we are committed to ensuring that Cyndi is remembered and giving her friends and loved ones a chance to celebrate her life and mourn her untimely loss.

To that end, we are asking that you consider contributing to the family’s memorial efforts. Your donation will help ease the financial burden of this tragedy.

What about any unused funds?

Because of Cyndi’s passion for animals, we have decided that any remaining funds will be donated to the Humane Society of Utah in her name.

Primary Goal: Funeral Services $5000

Our primary goal is to cover the cost of the funeral expenses, to allow us all a chance to remember and say farewell to a remarkable woman. For more information on location and time of the services as well as to read Cyndi's obituary please follow this link  .

Stretch Goal: Permanent Memorial/Interment $3000

Cyndi will be cremated after memorial services conclude. It is the wish of her family to, at a later date, inter some of her remains in the Pleasant Grove city cemetery in a plot where she can one day be joined by her husband. At this time, we have neither plot nor headstone. The cost of the headstone has been estimated.

Stretch Goal: Medical Expenses $2200

On the day of her death, Cyndi was rushed to the American Fork hospital by ambulance. Though the efforts of doctors ultimately failed, they attempted to bring her back to us.  These costs are currently an estimate, and will be updated once we receive the actual bill.

Stretch Goal: Scattering of Ashes in Camarillo

Cyndi grew up in Camarillo, California. She had long intended to take her children back to her hometown and show them her old home. At a time to be determined next year the family will take a trip to Camarillo for the purposes of taking her home and scattering some of her remains on a beach.  A piece of her heart had always remained in Southern California, we thought it would be fitting to have a final resting place somewhere she loved so dearly.
