Our dear friend Chris Birchfield joined his parents and the Lord our Father in Heaven early Tuesday morning. Chris had a huge heart and was one of the kindest souls I have ever had to pleasure to know. He was always willing to help out someone who needed help, whether they asked for it or not. He loved his kids more than anything I believe. He constantly talked about them, about how proud he was of them, and about how they were the turning point for him in his life. Katy, Sydney, Abigail and Dylan will miss him fiercely, I can only pray that will remember him as I will.  He spoke often, of his one true love, and that was Becky. I know he loved her intensely. His brother Rob was never left out of any conversation we had about our childhoods. He looked up to, even idolized his older brother.
 
We are trying to raise funds for the family to help lighten the burden that sad times like this force upon us. Like many of us, Chris did not have life insurance. The family will be needing the funds to help get him back home, and ensure that he gets the memorial he deserves. We are trying to raise as much as we can as fast as we can of course.
