My older brother, Bouakham Phanthavong, has passed away on 10/26/2021 in SeaTac, WA. It was a sudden loss for all of us and it is difficult for us to go through this loss. He was really ill in May and he fought hard during that time. Although, he had survived before, he unexpectedly took a turn for the worst and had succumbed to illness. He passed away at 35 years old.
For those who has known him and been part of his life, please just remember him well and wish him well. We did not have a ceremony or viewing for his body because he was covid positive and not allowed by the health organization. We are planning to hold a memorial service sometime later in Sacramento, CA. We will remember him in our hearts and the goodwill he has done. If anyone would like to help with his afterlife services, you are more than welcome to donate here. Thank you for helping.
Update: We thank everyone who has helped with his services and future services. We plan to have a buddhist ceremony in Sacramento, CA. We have no set date at this time, and we do plan to do a 100 day service that most Laotian people knows. Thank you again for the support and money during this difficult time.
