Memorial Service & Medical Expenses for Christy
Donation protected
UPDATE: We met the initial goal of $5,000!! THANK YOU to all of those that donated to make that possible. I've gone ahead and increased the goal knowing that we're just making a very minor dent in their expenses.
That being said - to those of you that already donated: THANK YOU. To those who haven't been able to donate yet but are considering making a donation: THANK YOU. To anyone even taking the time to read all of this, whether you're ready to donate or not: THANK YOU!! Feel free to share this as you seen fit. Everything we raise goes to Chisty's family.
Earlier this summer, my little cousin, Christy, was in a terrible car accident right before July 4th. Since then she's been fighting tooth and nail to get home.

Earlier this summer, my little cousin, Christy, was in a terrible car accident right before July 4th. Since then she's been fighting tooth and nail to get home.
After a +100 day battle in the hospital, just as we thought she was turning a corner, Christy has passed away. She leaves behind 3 sons, a loving husband, a brother, a stepdad that was always a father to her, her MeMaw, her cousins, and her devastated mom.
Instead of planning a "Welcome Home" celebration, her family is now planning a celebration of her life. Unfortunately, these services are NOT cheap and Christy's family is also preparing for the hospital bills that are sure to follow as she did not have health insurance.
I'm setting this up to do anything we can to help with these costs. ALL money raised will go to Christy's family. The family can decide what is best for these funds - memorial service, medical bills, costs for school activities for the boys, clothes for the boys, ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING that will help Ellen and Brandon take care of the family.
Christy was so strong. She was so loved. And she loved fiercely. Her husband was loved. Her boys were so loved. Her mom was her best friend, by her side every day until the very end, and was so beyond loved I can't put it into words.
Her family appreciates ANY help that can be given. Thank you. To everyone who knew and loved Christy, she loved you right back. We're all so sad that she is gone, but she will be with us ALWAYS.
