Memorial service for Peggy Kinn

I'm trying to raise money for a memorial service for the most amazing and incredible woman/mother I could have ever asked for. She is the strongest person I've ever known. She took care of my disabled father for over 10 years before he passed, while working her tail off, and raiding 2 boys into the best men they could become. She was selfless, caring empathetic and altruistic. She would do absolutely anything for the ones she loved. She has dealt with tragedy after tragedy in her life, without her faith or optimistic outlook wavering one bit. She has outlived 9 siblings, her husband, her oldest child who passed unexpectedly in 09 at the age of 38, and her 2 best friends.

My mom is 78 and dealing with stage 4 lung, pancreas, liver and lymph nodes cancer. She's currently in Sentara Hospice House with days to live ( after we just found out 6 weeks ago). By the time I found out that she had no life insurance policy she was past 65 and insurance rates were too expensive for me to help with.

Those of you who know me...know that I don't ask for help and that I'm always the one to try to help others grow mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually. And although it pains me to even create a page like this, I believe God has put it on my heart to a this. And not even really for support financially or with grieving (many of you have tried it help already and I appreciate every one of you that has), but moreso then anything that this message may touch the life or lives of others who may be grieving or dealing with something similar. That a message of love is a reminder , cherish the ones you love with all your heart every single day of your life, because our lives can be taken from us . Rapidly and so unexpected . For those who may be putting off a medical exam or making preparations for your future and ensuring your family is taken care of when you're gone. It takes literally minutes out of our hustle anf bustle lives to stop and make a phone call, or visit a loved one and tell them how much they mean to you, how much you love them and appreciate them. Take the opportunity to do so while they are here..it's much better than talking to a picture after they leave this earth.

I made this page for support to see what I can do for a memorial for the greatest person I know, for resources I may be overlooking, and I hopefully touch a life who may be going through any tragedy or trial and tribulation.
