Hi to whomever is reading this,
My name is Wendy Torrez, Juan Ramon Trujillo's daughter. We come to you with heavy hearts to share the story of a man who was able to overcome one of the darkest challenges to embrace the brightest moments of his life. My dad died at the age of 64 from abdominal cancer. He leaves behind 4 children and was a grandfather to 5 beautiful grandchildren. He was a great example that it was never too late to turn his life around for the better. He triumphed over his addictions to be given a second chance at life. To have the opportunity to build a loving relationship and to cherish his grandchildren.
Sadly, his second chance was cut short. My dad was diagnosed with cancer in August 2022. Chemo did not work for him and the cancer eventually ended up spreading. On September 29, 2023, we were told by his doctor that he did not see my father living past another month. On the night of October 24, 2023 my father took his last breath with his family by his side. My dad was able to cherish every moment he had with his family, especially his grandchildren. Their laughter, stories, and innocence brought an immeasurable joy to his life and at times eased the pain in which he had to endure.
This is where we are reaching out to you, our friends, family, and community. We kindly ask for your support in helping us honor my father’s memory and ensure that his legacy and love lives on. Your contribution will go towards covering the costs associated with his funeral. Your generosity will not only ease our financial burden but will also serve as a tribute to a man who fought valiantly to become a better father and grandfather for his family. Your donation, no matter the size, will make a significant impact. #cancer #memorialservice #support #raisemoney
With heartfelt gratitude,
Wendy Torrez

Wendy Torrez y familia
