Memorial Service for Gerald E. Confer
Donation protected
It is with a heavy heart that I must announce that my sweet brother Gerald has lost his battle with esophageal cancer. He was a brave soldier in this battle. He loved God and lived his life accordingly. He never complained and was always grateful and appreciative of everything and everyone in his life. Initially he won the first battle and was able to enjoy several months cancer free. However. the cancer came back with a vengeance. It spread quickly and soon Gerald was back to doing chemo on the weekends to try and keep the cancer at bay. He never let anyone know the extent of the cancer or the pain he was experiencing. He is one of the strongest men I know and is now at peace and pain-free. He passed away with his family by his side surrounded by love. He will be loved and missed by everyone who had the privilege to know him. As most of you know, we have just laid to rest his son Kenny two weeks ago. These sequential losses left our family without words. We are not entirely prepared to handle the overwhelming expenses and would appreciate any contributions. I will post the date and times as soon as the arrangements have been confirmed. God bless each and everyone.
