Memorial Service for Darrel W Hunt

Darrel Hunt passed away December 11, 2020 of a massive heart attack. He was an amazing son, husband, father and papa. He cherished his family and put God above all else. If you were blessed to cross paths with him you know exactly how amazing he was. Tough as nails, he survived so much in his lifetime. When he was a baby he was diagnosed with encephalitis and was told by doctors he wouldn’t survive. His moms faith in the lord and her prayer to god healed him. Then when he was 15 he fell out of a 30ft tall tree and survived. Fast forward to 2014, Darrel had a major heart attack and was gone, they were able to shock him back to life. Only 4 years later he was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer that started in his prostate and spread to his bones all over his body. At this point everyone prepared themselves for what they knew was about to happen. Darrel found peace and hope in the lord as he did everyday of his life and by some miracle straight from heaven he survived another 2 years until his heart attack. He couldn’t fight any more and made his trip home to Jesus. In 2009 when the economy crashed, he and his wife Lisa Hunt lost everything they had. They picked themselves up and started a new business and everything was going good until his bone cancer, then once again they lost everything they rebuilt. They ended up moving to Homosassa to be by their son and grandson. They were happy and rebuilding their life, put all their savings into a piece of property and mobile home that they could settle down in to and live out the rest of their days... happy and together. His heart attack came 3 days before they were supposed to sign papers and close on the property. As he reached so many in his life, we are now reaching out to all of you for help. Because of the fact the Darrel had cancer he was unable to get life insurance to ensure that his family would be ok with him gone. Please if you are able help in any way, donate today to help relieve some of cost for his memorial and help Lisa secure the home her and Darrel were meant to own, together.
