On Saturday, July 11 our mom passed away from complications of injuries she sustained after being hit by a motor vehicle in early January. After her accident, she overcame many obstacles and had been on the road to recovery the past 6 months. Unfortunately, an unexpected complication led to her death. 

Our mom was a woman full of life. She loved large and always brought the most unique energy to her every encounter. Our mom was a fighter. This was clear all throughout her life but especially these past months as she struggled to heal from her accident. 

Many knew her as Corby or CC. She was someone not easily forgotten. She loved music. She loved to dance, sing, joke and showed us not to take life too seriously. She was undeniably creative and loved to draw and paint. Her greatest gift was the ability to make any person feel fully welcomed and accepted by her love. 

None of us were prepared to say goodbye. At this time, we would greatly appreciate any contribution to help us cover the costs of a memorial service for our mom. It is our hope that we can properly honor her and celebrate her life and the love she has left within each of us. Thank you.
