Memorial Service for Cheryl Eldringhoff
Donation protected
On April 3rd 2019, Cheryl Ann Eldringhoff left this earth. She departed in her sleep, while living in Desert Hot Springs, California. She leaves behind 5 children: Jerry McCaine, Patrick Eldringhoff, Joseph Eldringhoff, Nicholas Eldringhoff, and Anthony Eldringhoff, as well as her 2 grandchildren: Isaac Eldringhoff and Gideon Eldringhoff. She also has departed from her partner and soulmate Kelly French.
Cheryl graduated from Washburn University in 1993 with a BSN in nursing. She started her nursing career at the Menninger clinic in Topeka, Ks and found that she had a natural gift for helping people and dedicated her life to mental health treatment. Throughout her carrier working she touched the hearts of many people, working in various programs in Topeka, Ks, Nevada, Mo, Minneapolis, Mn, Houston, Tx, and Desert Hot Springs, Ca. Her most recent position was at the Betty Ford Clinic working in the substance abuse program. She thrived when helping people; from working with eating disorder patients, to nursing the elderly, to trauma survivers, as well as children, and those struggling with substance abuse. She was a healer.
In her personal life, she was dedicated to her boys. She taught us how to love, and that nothing compares to the family bond. Through all the trials and tribulations of our (her children) teenage and adult years, she never gave up on us. She was everything a mother should be - and then some. She was even like a mother to her grandson Isaac. Though she is gone, her unconditional love is something that we will carry with us forever. She loved to plant and spend time in the garden; a natural green thumb, bringing plants to life. She was an artist; a painter, who made made beautiful creations. She brought a smile to everyone that she would meet.
We, her family have started this fund and are asking for donations for cremation costs, and for a memorial service in Topeka, Ks; to bring her family together and celebrate her life.
