For those who don't know me, my name is Kristen and I have had the honor of being friends with James for many years. If you have lived in Neptune, there is a high likelihood you've met him as he has served the community as a member of Liberty Fire Company on Monroe Ave for nearly 30 years. James has always been the kind of guy that would be gruff on the outside but once you were one of his own, you could see past the gruff exterior to the heart of gold he had inside.
He held his friends, family, and community in the highest esteem and would go out of his way to help anyone who needed a hand. Even when he didn't have anything, he was always trying to do for others.
Everyone was devastated by the loss of James suddenly on August 23rd and the family is trying to come up with the funds to pay for the unexpected funeral costs. His services will be held 4-7pm on August 30th at Francioni, Taylor, & Lopez at 1200 10th Ave, Neptune, NJ 07753. Their website with his information is https://www.ftl-funeralhome.com/home
He leaves behind his two sisters, three children, and six grandchildren. Anything you can donate will help them to cover the costs of the services.
Thank you so much for your time and help!
