Memorial service and future expenses

Hello, my name is Brianna Boyett.

Early Sunday morning we got the devastating news that my mom Darlene Boyett had passed away. A lot of people knew her and loved her. She had worked at the Waffle House in Cornelia since 2010. Her and my dad Shawn. My parents fed most of Habersham County. She was probably your favorite server and Shawn was your favorite cook. Most people only came when they were working. She sat with a lot of people and just talked. Her smile was incredibly contagious and she loved the connections she built with so many people. This news is shocking to many people but as you can imagine it’s extremely hard on her family. My father can’t go back there yet. It’s hard. Maybe one day he can walk back in and cook for everyone once again because it was something he actually cared about, but not yet. They were the best team and we would like him to take as much time off as possible. She wanted to be cremated, that was her only request. We would like to pick out the perfect urn and in time we would like to have a big memorial service for her. Just a celebration of her life and all of the people she loved. I’m asking for help for our family to cover the cremation, memorial service, and future bills for my dad, Shawn. They were together for 35 years and he deserves to take as much time as he wants without worrying about finances. So many people asked how they could help and this is the only way I can think to help. She had sisters and brothers. She had a husband and a father. She had kids and grand babies. She was absolutely the mother figure in so many peoples lives. If you can’t donate that’s 100% okay, just please share this and keep us all in your thoughts.
