Bradley Park Memorial Scholarship for Beau Park

Donation protected
Bradley Wynn Park was born to Mark and Sandra Park on November 29, 1984 in Oklahoma City, OK and passed away at the age of 36.

Memorial Services will be held on Monday, January 11th, at 2:00 P.M. at Northwest Baptist Church at 3030 NW 23rd St. Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73107 and officiated by Kern McMinn and Mike Duncan.

Bradley spent his childhood in Watonga, Oklahoma. The Park family attended Watonga First Baptist, and his father was a high school coach, so Brad’s childhood was spent splitting time between church, the basketball court, and baseball field. Through this childhood experience, Brad’s love for Jesus and sports grew. Brad gave his heart to Jesus and was baptized at Watonga First Baptist Church. The Park family moved to Woodward before Brad’s freshman year of high school where Brad was a Boomer and made friendships that lasted his lifetime. Brad graduated from Woodward High School in 2003.

Brad loved to laugh and loved to see others laugh. Brad was generous, smart, funny, ornery, kind, and a little bit stubborn. Brad was a sports fan, an athlete, an avid reader, a keeper of completely random facts, a fisherman, and a lover of blues music. Brad was a man of few words but “I love you” were his favorites. He told his family and friends he loved them every chance he got.

Everyone who knew Brad knew how deeply he loved, but no one understood the full extent of that love until his son, Beau Ellis Park was born on September 7th, 2018. Brad was the most amazing father. Beau was Brad’s world. He wanted to spend every waking hour with Beau and sang Beau’s praises to anyone who would listen. He knew Beau so well that he could anticipate his needs and wants. Beau was the light and love of Brad’s life and the legacy he leaves with all of us.

Brad was the best father, son, brother, and friend. His legacy will live on through Beau, his family, and the friendships he cherished.

Brad was preceded in death by his grandfathers Ralph Denney and Thomas Park.

He is survived by son Beau Park; parents Mark and Sandra Park; sister Shelby Beshara, her husband Matthew and their daughters Parker and Gentry; brother Matthew Park; and grandmothers Jo Ann Denney and Clara Kathleen Burge; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
