My name is Lorraine, and I am reaching out with a heavy heart to honor my beloved sister, Alice (Smith) Jones. In early October 2025, Alice was admitted to Monterey Park Community Hospital with pneumonia. She spent three weeks in the hospital and, after a difficult recovery, was cleared to return home. Sadly, after almost a month at home, her health declined again, and she had to be readmitted. When I went to visit her, I learned she had passed away just two hours earlier. The loss has left our family devastated.
Alice was a woman of deep faith who loved God, her family, her friends, and even strangers. She was known for her kindness, generosity, and willingness to help anyone in need. Whether it was sharing her food or her last dollar, Alice touched the lives of people from all walks of life. She was truly well loved and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.
We want to give Alice the memorial she deserves, but I am on a fixed income and our brother is currently down on his luck. The funds raised will help us host a repass in her honor, covering the cost of a venue, tables and chairs, decorations, tablecloths, napkins, utensils, food, and 50 printed obituaries. Any support you can offer, especially during this Christmas season, means the world to us. Thank you for your kindness and generosity. May God bless you and your loved ones with a safe and wonderful 2025. Merry Christmas.
