Friends and Family,

As you are probably aware by now, Patrick Maloney Sr passed away unexpectedly Saturday, September 1st.

Patrick’s family has agreed that he would most appreciate being remembered out on the water-whether it be fishing, boating, or diving. 

In lieu of flowers, we have created this memorial fund to support purchasing an artificial reef in his memory. We plan to place this reef in the Gulf, accessible via the Pensacola Pass. This way, friends and family will be able to visit Patrick in the open ocean and honor his memory while doing something we all love.

Patrick and his family loved to fish together offshore. One of my fond memories of Patrick, is his non traditional yet highly entertaining fishing tactics. He always seemed to fish opposite of the “textbook way,” yet somehow he always caught the best fish!

We plan to share the reef coordinates with our friends and family when it is in place. We sincerely appreciate everyone’s love and support in this time, and would graciously accept any contribution to his memorial reef fund.
