Memorial Playground For Andria Freeman

Donation protected
Cancer may have stolen her body, but it never stood a chance against her spirit.

Dear friends,
Many of you have learned about the recent passing of my incredible wife, Andria Freeman. She was a young mother of 3, who fought for years against an impossible disease to spend every moment she could with her family. In her memory, we are now raising a fund where 100% of the donations will go toward building a playground.

Those of you who have known Andria, or learned about her, know about her radiant energy. Even as cancer pushed her body to its extremes, she took every step with her characteristic grace, dignity and strength. Just a short week before passing, she summoned the strength to join for our middle child's birthday and sing him happy birthday - something we'll never forget.

Andria was an unbelievable combination of intelligence, energy, beauty and style - a natural leader who was a force in crowds, and individually. She cared deeply for her family and friends with unwavering support. So many spoke up to say "when I thought nobody would be there, Andria was the one who stood by me and showed me what grace was all about." While on long car trips, she'd listen to etiquette podcasts (no, I'm not joking) with a goal of making everyone feel more welcome in our lives. I can't imagine a day I won't miss her.

More than anything, she wished to bring joy into people's lives: gifts, thoughtful notes, helping hands, costumes, unbelievable cooking and her signature cocktails :)

In memory of her, we want to build a playground to bring joy to hundreds more mothers and children. The church and preschool where we have brought our kids for the last several years needs an upgrade and have welcomed the idea. We will donate 100% of the proceeds to the non-profit, earmarked to go directly to the playground.

Please consider donating today and sharing this with your friends and family, we'd like to make an incredible memorial spot for a person that touched so many lives in a positive way.

**note, I will try to add pictures of the current playground later. Unfortunately it won't allow me to add any pictures at the moment.
